After living with my deer dear friend from the middle of February to the end of March, I've finally made it back to the United States. British Airways took me to Atlanta where I picked up a hire car and drove it to Tallahassee and got there at 11PM on the 28th where Timmi and Cindy opened their home to me until the end of June.

On April 1st, Timmi let me borrow the truck so I could drive to Orlando to collect the dogs. Average gas price for regular is $3.35 9/10 a gallon. In Orlando, I first went to Virgin Cargo with the needed documentation. They told me to go to Customs on the West airstrip and take the papers with me, and pay the customs' tax.

The dogs were glad to see me after their 3 hour pre-flight check-in, 10+ hour flight and 1 hour post flight inspection before being handed over to me. They were very quiet on the drive back to Tallahassee.

With the price of gas going up an average of $0.10 a week, I decided to purchase a motorcycle. Figuring the payments and insurance would be low enough for me to get along with till I had full time work. Went to The Cycle Shop on highway 20 near capital circle West and looked around. The prices of most bikes was too high and I only wanted something small to get around town on, so the Honda Rebel caught my eye at just $4020 + tax, tag and paid a bit extra for maintenance and financed the entire thing.

Long term friends Cindy and Timmi plus their son and my God-son C**** helped me for the first few months being back in Florida while I looked for work. .

Timmi, myself and his son went to Monticello on a Saturday because Timmi volunteered to be a spotter on one of the many turns on the go-kart track. The go-karts are not cheep and can be put into many different categories, some with only a clutch and some with gears for shifting. Turns out he needed me to be a babysitter, one of the conditions for me staying in their home. 

A long trip on Leeloo to Panama City Beach I took the long way along the coast first to Carrabelle and highway 98 past Mexico Beach and finally Panama City Beach where I stopped for 30 minutes to eat the lunch I picked up on the way. This is the Florida I love.
