The Savage File Movies

In the week of 26th November 2003 to December 2nd, Rosemary and I had a very interesting guest, Steve Savage. He is from Australia and traveling through the United States, Canada, England, Europe, across Asia, China and back to Australia on donations, odd jobs, and hitchhikes when conditions permit.

He updates images and information in a journal on thesavagefiles.com. If you visit a sponsor from a link on his page, Stephen gets a portion of the sale so he can eat, travel, and use on expences during his adventures. He wants to write a book about his experiences when he returns home. This is his 4th trip around the world.

While he was staying with us, he let me downloaded pictures from his computer into mine and I produced 3 movies. This is my first attempt with movie production.

Broadband is recommended when downloading the movies or right click on and save the movies from the link before opening it. Also you need to have Windows Media player 6.4 or later and a 500 mhz computer for best results and WindowsXP is recommended.

The first is from images he took on his trips around the world, is in Windows Movie Video file, and really need to be dwnloaded irst for the best playback. 22 Megs

The second movie is also made from images on his United States / Canada tour. It's also in Windows Media format. Unlike the first 1st movie, that show pictures at 1 to 10 frames per second, this movie is slower. Music by Delta Blue: On The Road Again 11.2 Megs
